Anatomy of the Website Gadget^®

The Website Gadget^® is the magic behind Firefly’s world class website designs. Our content management system (CMS) is the technology that drives our solutions, and makes website management simple and easy for non-technical users.

The Gadget^® requires no special software or downloads. If you have a browser and an Internet connection on a PC or an Apple computer, you can use the Website Gadget^®!

The Website Gadget^® is composed of three primary components:

• Page Manager
• Gadgets^®: Plug & Play Web Applications
• Traffic, User & ROI Reporting Gadgets

How Firefly Uses the Gadget^®

The Website Gadget^® system is a remarkable tool that enables us to create websites more efficiently and for lower cost to our clients. Believe it or not, it requires much less time to create a website using our CMS.

The process is really very simple. Once the Website Gadget® is installed, we simply take our custom designs, convert them to templates, and upload them into the Gadget^® system. The Page Manager allows us to create pages, create content for each page, then insert these pages into the website.

How Clients Use the Gadget^®

Once a website is completed by Firefly, we turnover control of the website to our client. We provide access to the Website Gadget^®

Dynamic information, such as calendars of events, news articles, polls, surveys, bulletins, etc. are quickly added, updated and deleted as necessary. These little applications are Firefly's Gadgets®, found in our CMS' suite of applications.

Clients login to the system and to update content on their pages, add or delete pages and move pages around the site as needed.
